Aleksei Beltiukov | Product Leader (AI & Developer Tools)

The best digital products are born at the intersection of three worlds: deep understanding of business goals, engineering empathy, and genuine curiosity about user problems. My entire career has been a deliberate journey across these three dimensions.

As a product leader, I don't just manage a backlog — I create an environment where technology decisions directly impact business metrics. Today I build AI-powered tools for developers, and my path through frontend engineering and fintech gives me a rare combination: I understand both the people who write code and the people for whom that code creates value.

My passion for technology extends beyond work. I believe the only way to truly understand AI capabilities is to get hands-on. That's why I maintain my own "digital garden" on Hetzner, where I experiment with LLMs and self-hosted services for workflow automation. This hands-on experience helps me separate real technology trends from hype and find non-obvious solutions for products. I share my findings on my Telegram channel "Controlled Hallucinations".

In my free time, I'm a street photographer shooting on a Canon 60D with a 35mm f/1.8 lens, trying to capture that elusive "magic of the moment" in random scenes and faces. I love traveling and discovering new cities and landscapes — it's the best way to clear the cache and recharge with fresh impressions.

  • AI Interaction Design: Designing AI features that feel intuitive to users of all skill levels — from beginners to experienced developers.
  • Product Strategy: Shaping strategy based on user feedback, market data, and competitive analysis, partnering closely with design and engineering teams.

Product Manager | RSHB-Intech (Rosselkhozbank IT)
August 2023 — September 2025
IT division of Rosselkhozbank (Russian Agricultural Bank). Owned the full product lifecycle of two key products: a B2C marketplace for distressed asset sales and an internal platform for borrower registry management. Responsible for discovery, product strategy, backlog, and business metrics.

  • Increased sign-up conversion on the B2C marketplace from 1% to 15% by initiating user research and eliminating the key CJM barrier — an overly complex onboarding form.
  • Led the product and technical modernization of a key B2C service, justifying the investment through SEO traffic growth. Achieved a PageSpeed Insights score of 92 and resolved site indexing issues.
  • Resolved the engineering resource shortage as the key blocker to product growth by initiating and executing a plan to double the team (from 3 to 6 engineers), accelerating time-to-market and freeing capacity for tech debt reduction.
  • Reduced unplanned work by 30% by introducing a discovery process with mandatory early-stage technical validation.

Product Manager | Forkway
January 2023 — January 2024
EdTech & HRTech platform for IT professional training and development.

  • Launched a new B2B product (AI assistants) from 0 to 1 — from market insight to first paying customer, driving a strategic company pivot toward a higher-margin business line.
  • Developed and validated the product pricing strategy by building a financial model from scratch. Calculated unit economics and forecasted P&L, enabling the first data-driven B2B contract.
  • Transformed the founder's vision into a data-driven backlog by running a full research cycle (20+ CustDev interviews, 100+ surveys), establishing a culture of data-informed decision making.
  • Increased engagement (first module completion) by 15% through systematic A/B testing, proving that gamification was the primary retention driver.

Frontend Developer | Adict
January 2020 — June 2023
Digital agency building custom solutions for enterprise clients.

  • Owned an internal product — a reusable UI component library, improving project profitability by reducing time-to-market by ~25%.
  • Reduced regression bugs by championing and implementing a unit testing culture, proving its business value through a pilot project.
  • Evolved from a developer into a technical partner for the business, reframing client requests from "what to build" to "what problem to solve".

Business Development Manager / Project Manager | KRONA LLC
January 2014 — January 2020

  • Built a new business line from scratch, turning manufacturing waste from a cost center into a revenue stream. Developed the business plan, calculated unit economics, and led the project execution.
  • Cut logistics costs by 15% in the first year by initiating a digitization project and implementing GPS data collection to transform opaque processes into a manageable, data-driven system.
  • Improved production planning accuracy by ~20% by replacing gut-feel decisions with forecasting based on historical data.
  • Contributed to the Go-to-Market strategy for the Chinese market, preparing the analytical foundation for CEO-level negotiations.
